5 Years Integrated P.G. PROGRAMME

Breaking the@ Stereotype

Integrated programmes are five-year degree programmes which are a blend of core subjects, advanced areas and specific applications in the chosen specializations. These programmes offer a Masters’ degree either in technology or science, are designed to be innovative, with a structured curriculum, and are application oriented. The conventional PG programmes if pursued separately after the completion of undergraduate studies, spans for 6 years (4+2), which is a year more than the integrated PG programme.

The structured curriculum of Integrated PG programme includes an extensive nine months of industrial internship to provide the students a strategic advantage in terms of industrial exposure and placement opportunities. With the high technical expertise developed, there are immense career options with a high salary package available in the following sectors:

In next few years, India will require millions of bioengineers with diversified expertise in biology, material science, bio signal image processing, artificial skin grafts and organs, wearable biomedical devices, nanorobotics, gene edition, brain-computer interfaces. healthcare, biomechanics, and engineering, to combat debilitating and rare diseases, continuing solution for worldwide health issues by lowering the cost of care. With the increase spread of Coronavirus(Covid-19) the demand for bioengineers even has increased multiple folds in recent years. Bioengineering at VIT Bhopal provides a unique opportunity for students to get acquainted with biological sciences course combined with engineering courses.

Eligibility

Int.M.Tech – Int.M.Tech -No entrance examination. A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the state / central board of examination or its equivalent examination with 65% aggregate for general category and 55% aggregate for SC/ST community and candidates hailing from Jammu & Kashmir and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tirupura, in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).
Age Limit: Date of Birth fall on or after 01.07.2004

Integrated M.Sc.(Biotechnology) (5 Years) -No entrance examination. A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the state / central board of examination or its equivalent examination with Physics,Chemistry and Biology or Botany / Zoology as subjects with a minimum of 60% overall aggregate for general category and 50% aggregate for SC/ST community and candidates hailing from Jammu & Kashmir and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tirupura.
Age Limit: Date of Birth fall on or after 01.07.2004
